The process of designing & comping the site 2. Coding in a structured and clean way 3. Cross browser issues, and tricks for graceful degrading in old browsers 4. Converting your code into a wordpress theme 5. Adding and styling plugins I'm defo not and SEO expert, (I know about the basics of structure/page titles etc..) so I won't cover this in too much detail. However if someone whats to 'take the reins' and really SEO the theme then I'd be happy to let them Pete @gadget

3. Cross browser issues, and tricks for graceful degrading in old browsers
4. Converting your code into a wordpress theme
5. Adding and styling plugins

I’m defo not and SEO expert, (I know about the basics of structure/page titles etc..) so I won’t cover this in too much detail. However if someone whats to ‘take the reins’ and really SEO the theme then I’d be happy to let them

This may be a step too far but one thing that I can't get a handle of is .htaccess files and their importance re WP / MySQL etc. More fundamentally, layout do's and dont's such as 1,2,3 columns - sidebars - colours - basic seo requirements like title & meta tags plus all the other stuff.
